Gaze Magazine

Magazine Design

Gaze Magazine was created as a final project for my Gender, Media, and Diversity course. The assignment required us to produce a media artifact that connected to our written essay, and I chose to act as the designer by creating a fully developed magazine concept.

The magazine examines the male gaze and postfeminist ideals in media—from movies to music to video games. To visually reinforce the timelessness of these issues, I designed the publication in a bold black-and-white style, emphasizing that these dynamics are both historical and ongoing.

In addition to layout and editorial design, I created the logo and brand identity for Gaze Magazine, ensuring a cohesive look throughout the project. This work allowed me to merge academic research with visual communication, transforming critical analysis into a polished creative artifact.
